[EN] Text highlighting using keyboard broken in 1.0.10

While editing a post using AJAX Quickedit 1.0.10, it is not possible to highlight text in the edit field using the keyboard, e.g. by pressing Shift + cursor keys or Ctrl-A to highlight all text. Instead, the text selection is cleared when releasing a key.

Highlighting text using the mouse works. Copying the hightlighted text to the clipboard using Ctrl-C works, but the highlighting is cleared after hitting Ctrl-C.

This has started happening after the upgrade from 1.0.8 to 1.0.10.
My phpBB version is 3.0.6.
It happens with Firefox 3.5.7, Firefox 3.6, Internet Explorer 8, and Google Chrome 3.0.195.21.

Please go back to version 1.0.9, as 1.0.10 has currently just too many bugs in it. Just replace the 1.0.10 files with the ones from the 1.0.9 package.

I left a possible fix for 1.0.10 on the bug tracker. Hope it helps.

I'll think about downgrading to 1.0.9. Thanks for the tip.

Have you tested the bugfix I posted? For me it works.
